CourseNetworking iOS Development Intern Reaches New Heights with Microsoft

Ravi Shah interned with CN for two years working on the iOS mobile app in the IUPUI CyberLab office. We would like to congratulate him as he joined the Microsoft team as a Software Engineer this past spring.

At CourseNetworking, Ravi was responsible for analyzing new requirements to come up with feasible solutions for CN users and then implementing solutions via programming. Ravi communicated with CN designers to complete different aspects of app development and uploaded new developments into the App Store. Ravi believes his experience with CourseNetworking at the CyberLab helped him stand out from other candidates, and ultimately land him the position, he explained,

Ravi Shah, Former CN iOS Intern
"at the CyberLab I got to work with industry-level applications which were a huge plus point in my career. I was getting industry-level experience while studying at IUPUI. I got a job in iOS app development, which is very similar to what I was doing at CyberLab. I learned some great things and in my time there which helped me to land a job after graduation."

He elaborated on his experience at the CyberLab working with CourseNetworking, saying, "I learned so many things. Starting from learning Swift programming language, which is used in iOS developing, to code management using Github and communicating with different teams like backend team members and graphics team to ship the features. I also learned how to implement unit test cases and how to upload applications to the Apple App Store." According to Shah, many of the languages he learned in his time at CourseNetworking are a part of his position now at Microsoft.
